Why We Built This Site
Georgia provides public access through several systems, not one universal database. The shared clerk and Tyler index cover Catoosa State and Superior matters. Magistrate, Probate, Juvenile, Ringgold, and Fort Oglethorpe records remain on distinct paths. A docket can identify parties, filings, and settings even when the underlying document must be ordered from a clerk. The site brings together official lookup routes, court responsibilities, case-number guidance, and request options.
What You Will Find Here
- Case lookups: instructions for a case search using a party name or case number
- Record requests: routes for obtaining court records and certified copies from the proper clerk
- Docket guides: local steps for finding and reading criminal dockets and civil dockets
- Court dates and settings: help interpreting the court calendar and confirming a scheduled hearing
What We Cannot Do
This privately operated reference site is independent of every Georgia court, clerk, and state agency. Its role has firm limits:
- We cannot issue a certified docket, order, or other court document
- We cannot alter, postpone, or confirm a hearing date
- We cannot retrieve an official docket sheet or case file on a visitor's behalf
- We cannot amend, seal, or remove a case entry
- We cannot advise anyone about the legal effect of a specific matter
- We cannot promise that every listed fee, contact detail, or setting remains current
An official or certified docket sheet must come from the clerk or court that maintains the original case. This resource can identify that office, but it cannot supply the record.
Search Partners
Search tools appearing on certain pages are operated by outside providers. Those companies determine their own prices, results, and terms. A paid enrollment completed through a referral may support this free resource. We neither set a provider's charges nor decide which records it returns.
